Entry Fees
In a special effort to honor those who have
blazed the path in Tracking before us, we will offer historic entry
fees to all tracking entrants for our 50th Anniversary National
Specialty. Accordingly, the 2010 entry fees will reflect the
exact price
charged for each test in the FIRST
YEAR it was offered at any ABTC
National Specialty.
Our 2010 entry fees are:
TD - $15.00 - Honoring the first
TD test which was offered way back in 1983 in Colorado.
TDX - $30.00 - Honoring our very first TDX test offered back in
1991, which incidentally was also in Colorado.
VST - $75.00 - Honors the first VST test offered more recently in
2001 and took place in Kansas City.

Photos
show vegetation length, types and overall terrain shown in
these photos is what can be expected throughout the available
tracking area. The photos were all taken on the morning of 25
April - exactly one year from when our tests will take place.
Accordingly, the vegetation growth should be close to the same in
2010. It's hard to believe we now have LESS than one year
until 2010 begins!
Please note the abundance of wild flowers in the area. East Texas is
famous for them and particularly at this time of year they are
bountiful. I wish the sun had been shining when I took these photos,
they would have shown up much better. The 25th was a cloudy
day and VERY windy. Our TD trackers should be aware they will
be tracking fields containing lots of wild flowers.
TDX Trackers -
TDX photos
show vegetation that will range
from quite short to well over knee high and trackers should expect
the tracks to go through some wooded areas.
